    E-Rank: 1 post

For jutsu with multiple levels (ex: Rank C/B/A) that can be trained separately, you only need to train the difference between ranks at your level in order to reach the next level. For example, if you have already trained a technique that is C rank as a B-Rank character, you would only require two posts to learn the B-Rank equivalent of the jutsu.

    Learning Kinjutsu

    No matter your rank,
C-Rank Kinjutsu require 300 Experience Points
B-Rank Kinjutsu require 400 Experience Points
A-Rank Kinjutsu require 600 Experience Points
S-Rank Kinjutsu require 800 Experience Points

These Experience points allow you to learn jutsu or special abilities/traits that have been specifically deemed Kinjutsu, or that require experience points. Even if you automatically learn a Kinjutsu technique/special ability/trait, you must have at least one post to actually learn it.

    Forgetting Jutsu

A character may forget a jutsu after paying a price. The price depends on the rank of the character, rather than the rank of jutsu.

D Rank Character require 25 Experience Points
C Rank Character require 50 Experience Points
B Rank Character require 100 Experience Points
A Rank Character require 1500 Experience Points
S Rank Character require 200 Experience Points

    Experience Point System

There are multiple ways to gain experience points, and they have different uses depending on what you want to do with them. For example, buying fighting style points, lowering learning posts or points. The ways to gain experience are listed below.

Missions - When you complete a mission you are awarded Experience Points. The number of experience points depends on the rank of the mission; which will also have a number of experience points listed.

Quests - Quests are almost like missions, however, they are more dangerous and far more intrinsic to a character than missions. Quests, may or may not affect the mentality of your whole character, and there is a chance of death as well. Experience points from missions are much more abundant; but so are the dangers.

Basic Roleplay - Okay, so you are getting tired of doing missions all the time, who doesn't? Basic roleplay is when you are roleplaying with other characters, as well as roleplaying by yourself. After roleplaying a particular thread, a person may use template changes to obtain experience points. Note: Roleplaying with more than 1 person gives more experience.

Milestones - Milestones are stories that your character has accumulated, whether through directly or indirectly affecting other roleplayers on The Ninja RP. It does not matter if you are the "good guy" or the "bad guy", but the span of your plot has been inclusive to several roleplayers, and perhaps the world. You can gain experience points from these as well, and depending on how vast your plot is; the more experience points you will get. For example, setting up the villages to fight a world war, would enable you to gain experience points due to achieving a milestone.

Learning - Learning techniques, special abilities, and traits are another way to gain experience points towards what you are learning. These experience points apply only to what you are learning and can not be used for anything else. Learning experience points are rapidly gained through actual training and not doing something else while training.

Events - There are rare events on The Ninja RP, which give experience points, as well as other goodies. They may or may not be announced, but they will be given.
    • For E- through B-Rank characters: 10 Experience Points Reduce The Posting Count For Learning Jutsu By 1
    • For A-Rank characters: 20 Experience Points Reduce The Posting Count For Learning Jutsu By 1
    • For S-Rank characters: 30 Experience Points Reduce The Posting Count For Learning Jutsu By 1

Note that you can't reduce the number of posts below 1.

Now, if you are Rank training you may also use Experience points to reduce the posting requirements.

Kinjutsu Training: You can use the experience points to directly lower the amount of training that you have to do, however, you may not use it until you make at least one post learning the special ability, trait, or anything that requires Experience points. (Training can never be reduced to 0 Points.)

Teaching: You also get Experience Points for teaching a jutsu to someone. If you help someone learn a D-Rank jutsu, you get 10 points. Help them learn a C-Rank, get 20 points, etc., according to this table. Teaching someone a Kinjutsu gives three times as many points as teaching a normal jutsu of that rank

    D - 20 points (60 for Kinjutsu)
    C - 30 points (90 for Kinjutsu)
    B - 50 points (150 for Kinjutsu)
    A - 80 points (240 for Kinjutsu)
    S - 120 points (360 for Kinjutsu)
